  1. I am creating 3d models using photos. Now I want to clean the meshes in 100s of models. Like I have to clean the wall tile scanned model mesh, removing the unwanted part. I want to know is there any method available through which i can clean the 100s of model made using photos taken at same angle. Basically batch cleaning of meshes is possible in 3ds max or not? Attached is the video , similarly we will have lot of meshes made from photos taken at same angle WhatsApp Video 2023-10-21 at 15.29.35.mp4
  2. Hi There, We've commissioned an artist to deliver photo-real fabrics but after many rounds of test renders, we're unable to give feedback that results in the fabrics looking photo-real. See final images for bedding reference. Everything in the renders is to a high standard however, the bed and footrest are missing that final 10%. We feel it's a material problem although, the reference fabrics have both crisp and smooth folds so this might also be an issue? To us, there's something in the way the CG fabrics are reflecting light that looks 'CG' to us. And yes, crisp, white bedding is probably harder to deliver but the footrest also exhibits a softness or blurriness that doesn't feel right (view at 100%). Does anyone have feedback that might help the artist understand why the fabrics don't look real? Hope that makes sense and that this kind of post is allowed here. We have a lot of respect for the artist and want to work with him for all our shots but just feel he's missing some specific technical direction on the fabrics we're unable to provide. Kind Regards, Ben

  10. Studio/Institution: Pikcells Client: Kronospan Genre: Office Interior Software: Max, VRay, After Effects, Pshop Website: http://pikcells.com/ Description: Hi Everyone, We recently completed a set of images to help promote a new wood panel collection. Our client wanted to make a statement about their innovations when developing new products. This called for some cutting edge unique looking imagery which push the boundaries of modern furniture design. We designed everything from the ground up. We created all the main furniture and sets from scratch, developing them around the 5 trends of Linear, Classic, Coastal, Vintage and Rough Sawn which were laid out by our client. Each one represented the various new finishes of their "Fresh 2" collection. This project really highlights what we can do with an open brief and our ability to design as well as visualise. The team really worked hard to pull this off and keep pushing the designs to make something special and we are all well chuffed with the result. The main concept was to portray the atmosphere of an old traditional Greek tavern, the warmth and the textures that were around in that period of time. Olives in the table, an amber rosary, backgammon, an old wagon wheel hanged in the wall, sacks of anise and the traditional copper distiller for the production of the traditional Tsipouro. I hope you like it too. Software used for the animation: 3D Studio Max 9, Vray 1.5, eyeon Fusion, Avid. you can see the TV commercial at Any comments are welcome. Thank you all for your time Karampalasis Savvas
  12. Studio/Institution: Personal project. Genre: Residential Interior Software: 3DS Max, Vray, Photoshop Website: http://ragazzaccio.evermotion.org/ Description: I was inspired to create this scene after seeing a render called "Bedroom White and Wood" by Ramon Zancanaro. In his scene, he used the colors of white and wood to compliment each other in order to create a simple, but beautiful scene. My goal was to see how far I could take this style just by the use of simple colors. I then used the water and plants to add accent colors to add to the room. -Special thanks to Ramon Zancanaro for his inspiration.
